Explosive material found near B’luru school

Bengaluru police seized explosive materials from a vacant land near a school in Bengaluru, raising concerns following a recent cafe blast. The substances included gelatine sticks and detonators found in a tractor parked near the school. Authorities are investigating the matter after receiving bomb threats at schools in the city.

The police discovered the explosive materials in the tractor parked at an empty site near the private school. Sources indicated that the materials are commonly used in construction and quarrying sites for exploding boulders. The Bellandur police responded to a tip off and swiftly seized the substances, initiating a suo motu case to further investigate the incident.

In light of recent bomb threats received by several schools in Bengaluru, officials are taking the matter seriously and probing the case. The authorities are not taking any chances following the discovery of explosive materials near the school. The incident has sparked concerns among residents in the city, especially after the recent cafe blast on March 1 using an improvised explosive device.
