Noida is all set to witness a new infrastructure. Recently the Uttar Pradesh government has given a nod to Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressway after much delay. Now, the Noida officials are building crucial elevated roads around the expressway to provide better connectivity to the public, said officials.

The authority is now planning to make a 659-metre-long elevated road around Chhijarsi while the other will be 5.65km above Hindon river road along with an underpass on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the location where FNG Expressway will also pass, said officials. Once all three infrastructures are built, the work for the FNG Expressway will also be done, officials added.
“The state government has asked the authority to work on the FNG Expressway after the Haryana government agreed to revive the project. Both UP and Haryana governments have agreed to share the cost of the bridge that needs to be built across the Yamuna, where the FNG Expressway will pass through connecting Noida with Faridabad,” stated Prabhas Kumar, additional chief executive officer, of Noida authority.
According to the new estimate prepared by the Noida authority, almost 23km of FNG Expressway will be in Noida while 17km of stretch has now been built, said officials.
The UP, as well as the Haryana governments, have decided to divide the cost 50% of each of the desired 600-metre-long six-lane bridges built on the budget of ₹200 crores, said officials. Additionally, the authority is making a 4.7km approach road in Noida besides FNG Expressway stretches, as stated by officials.
After so many disputes, many funding options and land disputes, the construction of a 43km expressway will accessible to Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Noida. The upcoming project will be the joint venture of the Haryana and the UP government.
