Giulia Ottorini and Eleonora Bertoli two famous social media influencers from Bologna, have found themselves at the centre of controversy. They are currently under scrutiny by the Tax Office for allegations of tax evasion.

Giulia Ottorini, who boasts around 3 million followers across her social media platforms, is particularly famous for her content on OnlyFans. According to fanpage.it, In March 2023, she disclosed in a video that she had spent thousands of euros over just four days, including “10 thousand in cash”.
She elaborated on her expenses, stating,
“We start from the 1st to the 4th of March. On the first, normal expenses amounted to 5,630 euros, which I find acceptable. Moving on to today, I spent 50 euros because I went out dancing, plus parking fees. Yesterday, I was okay with spending 90 euros, along with other minor expenses. The issue arose yesterday with expenditures of 15, 23, and then two large sums of 8,100 euros each, followed by 6,256 euros. After doing the math, we arrived at a total exceeding 23,000 euros (which includes around 9,800 euros in cash). I’m trying not to cry.”

According to TGLA7, Giulia Ottorini earned 300 thousand euros but failed to declare this income. Consequently, she was penalized by the Finance Department. Similarly, Eleonora Bertoli is accused of concealing the same amount of income from the tax authoriti
Moreover, two additional social media personalities, Gianluca Vacchi and Luis Sal, have also been investigated for concealing incomes of 7 million and 2 million euros, respectively, between 2022 and 2023.
A police investigation is currently underway, focusing on influencers’ follower counts as a key factor, as indicated in the influencer list of 2023.
