TikTok’s New ‘Screen Freeze’ Update, Which Stops Users From Scrolling, Causes Netizens To Lash Out
Like any other trend, TikTok is again making headlines for its newest trend, the screen freeze trend. Here, if you scroll past a certain video, your screen will freeze, causing you to be unable to scroll past videos on TikTok.
TikTok’s New ‘Screen Freeze’ Update
Numerous users are expressing their annoyance through this trend, as it is messing with their scrolling spree and it’s not a very fun trend to have on board. Some, however, have mentioned that they have been unaffected by this trend.
This all started when @noahglenncarte brought the issue to the attention of his followers. He mentioned that the video is manipulating the user algorithm and causing their screens to freeze. This is not causing any effect on the phone but only the app.
“Unfortunately, I have to stop you from scrolling,” is what the video starts with then continues to freeze the user’s screen creating hindrance in their usage.
He mentioned that he had to close the app and come back again to regain his original screen scrolls without the screen freezing out of the blue. To battle with this issue, @noahglenncarte has mentioned that if everyone figures out a way to make videos like his, then TikTok will freeze and the app will stop working, and maybe that’s how this trend will stop.

According to @noahglenncarte, either something is wrong with the algorithm present in the video, or it’s the picture they have used. Due to the interference with the database and the user algorithm, people are experiencing a hindrance on their phone screens while using their apps.
